Three bays, one private boat, lunch cooked on board

A private 6-hour gulet boat cruise in Bodrum takes you to Aquarium Bay, Red Bay and Rabbit Bay for swimming and snorkeling, with lunch, seasonal fruit, soft drinks and equipment included. The boat departs between 09:00 and 10:00, and you choose your menu — sea bass, meatball, chicken or vegetarian — when you book. Paddle boards and snorkeling gear are free; you can bring your own alcohol on board.

The Experience

The 15-meter gulet leaves Bodrum between 09:00 and 10:00 with your group only on board. You'll visit three separate bays over the course of the morning and afternoon, each one a stop for swimming and time in the water. Aquarium Bay holds you for an hour and a half; Red Bay, where the water is exceptionally clear, is where lunch happens; Rabbit Bay, the first in Bodrum to earn a blue flag, gives you another hour to swim. The crew handles the route and the timing, so the day unfolds without anyone building it.

Lunch comes hot from the galley — you pick your protein when you reserve, and the boat carries seasonal fruit, coffee, tea and soft drinks for the whole day. Snorkeling equipment and a paddle board are on board at no extra charge, so you can move between floating and swimming without stopping to arrange anything. If you want to bring wine or beer, pack it before you arrive; the boat does not sell alcohol, but yours is welcome.

The crew speaks English and knows the bays well enough to point out details — Red Bay holds melanur fish, and Rabbit Bay got its name from the shape of the land when seen from above, not from any animals living there. If you want a Seabob (a motorized water scooter), that costs extra and can be arranged ahead of time. The boat returns you to Bodrum by mid-afternoon, and the whole day stays private to your group.

Top questions

What's the water like for swimming in these three bays?

Aquarium Bay and Red Bay both have exceptionally clear water; Red Bay is noted as one of Bodrum's cleanest bays and is home to melanur fish. Rabbit Bay was the first in Bodrum to receive a blue flag for water quality, so all three are strong for swimming and snorkeling.

How much time do we actually spend swimming versus traveling between bays?

You spend an hour and a half in Aquarium Bay, roughly an hour in Red Bay (which includes lunch), and an hour in Rabbit Bay — that's three and a half hours in the water. Travel time between the bays totals about an hour and a half, so the 6-hour tour balances movement and stops evenly.

What menu options are available for lunch?

You choose between sea bass, meatball, chicken or vegetarian when you book. Lunch is cooked on board and served in Red Bay, along with seasonal fruit and soft drinks included in the price.

Is snorkeling equipment provided, or do I need to bring my own?

Snorkeling equipment and a paddle board are both free to use on board. You don't need to bring your own or pay extra for them.

Can we bring alcohol on the boat?

Yes — you're welcome to bring your own wine, beer or spirits on board. The boat does not sell alcohol, but outside drinks are allowed.

What time does the boat leave, and when does it return?

Departure is between 09:00 and 10:00 in the morning. The full tour runs 6 hours, so you'll be back in Bodrum by mid-afternoon.
