The Experience

The boat leaves with you as the only passengers. Your guide navigates to Black Island first — a volcanic island closest to Bodrum with multiple coves. You stop to swim and rest in one of them, or choose a different cove like Meteor Hole if you prefer. The water is clear enough to snorkel, and if you want to fish instead, amateur rods are on board.

Red Bay is the second stop, where lunch happens. The bay is named for a species of fish called melanur with red markings that live there. You can cast a line with the fishing rod, or put on the snorkel gear and watch them underwater while you swim. After lunch, fruit and drinks come out on deck.

Rabbit Bay closes the day — Bodrum's first blue-flag beach, so clean the bottom stays visible even 20 meters down. You swim and have a fruit service here before the return to Bodrum. Bottled water, coffee and tea are available throughout, and the snorkeling equipment stays on the boat for all three stops.

Black Island (Karaada) is a volcanic island closest to Bodrum with multiple coves. You stop there for a swimming and rest break; the entrance to Cleopatra Cave costs 3 euros per person if you want to visit it, or you can choose a different cove on the island like Meteor Hole instead.

Can I fish on this tour, or is it just for snorkeling?
