Paragliding in Alanya: Tandem flight from 700 meters

Launch from a high ridge, glide 20 minutes over Kleopatra Beach

Tandem paragliding in Alanya launches you from 700 meters with a licensed pilot who handles the flight while you take in the view. The flight lasts 15–25 minutes depending on wind and weather. Pickup is included, and guides speak English, German, Russian or Turkish. Not suitable for travelers with spinal injuries, pregnancy, or cardiovascular concerns.

The experience

You start at a high ridge 700 meters above Alanya. A certified pilot runs off the slope with the paraglide canopy already filled with air, and you launch together into a tandem flight. The pilot steers. You watch the turquoise water, golden beaches and mountain ridges unfold below for roughly 20 minutes. The exact duration shifts with wind conditions and how long the air currents let you stay aloft, but the flight is timed to keep you safe and give you the best view of the coastline.

All pilots are fully licensed and certified under national aviation standards. Pickup is arranged for you, and your guide speaks English, German, Russian or Turkish. The activity takes about two hours total, including the drive to the launch site, the flight itself, and the return. No prior paragliding experience is required: the pilot manages all the technical work while you experience the flight.
