The experience

Your private pilot meets you at the centrally located Alanya office at your chosen time, or picks you up directly from your hotel in Alanya or nearby districts in an air-conditioned car. The drive takes you to Mt. Alanya, the departure point and one of the world's top paragliding locations. Once there, you'll walk through the fundamentals with your pilot, get fitted with your gear, and then step to the launch point.

The flight itself is the core of the experience. You and your pilot launch together, and from the moment you leave the mountain, the view shifts to something few visitors ever see: Alanya city and its castle directly below, Cleopatra Beach spreading along the coast, and the turquoise sea stretching beyond. Your pilot handles the flying. You take in the perspective and can capture photos during the flight. They'll point out the sights and answer questions as you glide. The landing happens on the beach, where the experience ends and you're transferred back.

The whole outing (pickup, transfer, flight, and return) fits into roughly an hour. All paragliding equipment is provided, and insurance is included. The experience is beginner-friendly and works for ages five and up, though there are weight and health considerations: a 120 kg weight limit applies, and it's not suitable for travelers with spinal injuries, pregnancy, or poor cardiovascular health. Weather dependent: if conditions turn, you'll be offered an alternative date or a full refund.
