The experience
The tour starts with hotel pickup and a 20-minute stop at Düden waterfall, where the Düden River, one of southern Anatolia's largest, drops off a rocky cliff 12 kilometers northeast of Antalya, its clear waters falling straight toward the Mediterranean. From there, the route continues 19 kilometers to Kurşunlu waterfall, a tributary of the Aksu River that flows through a pine forest. The rural area around it serves as a picnic spot, and this is where lunch happens before moving on.
After lunch, a 10-minute drive leads to Karpuzkaldiran waterfall, the highest of the three. Water sprays with force from a height of 30 meters onto large rocks below, and there are places to relax and refresh at the base of each waterfall. The air-conditioned vehicle handles the driving between sites, and an English-speaking guide leads the tour throughout the five hours.
