The experience

The tour picks you up from your hotel around 10 a.m. and heads straight to the Lower Düden waterfall, where the 40-meter cascade flows directly into the Mediterranean from the cliffs. A short shopping break follows before lunch at a restaurant the agency selects, where you eat traditional Turkish food.

From there, you drive to Kaleiçi, Antalya's first settlement and old town. You'll see the Hadrian Gate, the Roman harbour, and the broken minaret: landmarks that mark the layers of history in this compact quarter. By around 5 p.m., you're back at your hotel.
