The experience

The day starts with pickup from your hotel and a drive to Lara Waterfall, where you get a 40-minute break to walk up to the falls, photograph them, and sit by the water. From there the guide takes you to Upper Duden Waterfall, which drops from high cliffs into a cave you can explore on foot. Between the two waterfalls there's a 20-minute stop at a leather workshop where you can watch traditional craftsmanship, then lunch at a local restaurant with Turkish dishes and fresh ingredients.

The afternoon shifts to the Old Town. Your guide leads a walking tour starting at Hadrian's Gate, a Roman monument that was one of the main entrances to Kaleiçi, then moves through the Antalya Clock Tower and Tekeli Mehmet Paşa Mosque before you wander the narrow streets of the historic district itself. You'll see traditional houses, small shops, and the working life of the neighborhood, not a museum version of it. After the walk you get a 90-minute break in Kaleiçi to sit at a cafe overlooking the Mediterranean, explore on your own, or shop.

If you book the option that includes the boat trip, you spend that final hour sailing along the coastline from the old harbor, passing Antalya Castle, the wooden houses of the waterfront, and views of Konyaaltı Beach and the cliffs. The boat is included in the ticket price. If it cancels due to weather, you get a 5-euro refund. Hotel return is included at the end of the day.
