You pass under Hadrian's Gate, a Roman triumphal arch from 130 AD, and see the Yivli Minaret, the fluted tower that marks the skyline. The Old Harbor sits at the bottom, once a trade hub, now a marina where an optional boat trip can take you along the coast to see secret coves and the city from the water.
