Families and friends do different activities from the same boat.

Snorkel the HTMS Chang shipwreck and Koh Rang National Park from Koh Chang with hotel pickup, lunch, snacks and all equipment. The boat runs daily trips to both sites, and divers, freedivers and snorkelers operate from the same vessel, so groups can split by skill level and still stay together. Children from age 10 are welcome. You can book with or without a guide depending on your experience.

The experience

The boat leaves daily for either the HTMS Chang shipwreck or Koh Rang National Park. Both are 80% suitable for snorkeling as well as diving and freediving. You get picked up from your hotel, travel to the site, and spend the day in clear water over coral reefs. The boat has space for everyone, so if one person wants to dive deeper while another snorkels, you're not splitting into separate trips. A briefing happens on board before you enter the water.

Lunch is a buffet served on the boat, with coffee, tea, snacks and bottled water throughout the day. All snorkeling equipment (mask, fins, wetsuit) is provided. If you're coming solo or want instruction, you can book the guided option. If you're already certified or experienced and traveling with a buddy, the standard option works. Either way, the boat crew knows the sites and can point out what's worth seeing.

The HTMS Chang is a real naval vessel sitting on the seafloor. Koh Rang is a protected national park where the coral and fish populations stay intact. Both draw snorkelers who want something more than a beach lagoon. The boat is wheelchair accessible, and the operator welcomes families with children from age 10 onward.
