The Big Buddha sits 45 meters tall on Nakkerd Hill and delivers the island's most recognizable panorama: Phuket Town, the beaches, and the surrounding hills all visible from one spot. From there, the route moves to Wat Chalong, Phuket's largest temple, where the architecture and the history of the revered monks Luang Pho Chaem and Luang Pho Chuang anchor the cultural half of the day.
