Train all eight limbs with a coach who adjusts to your pace

A private 1-on-1 Muay Thai session in Bangkok with a professional trainer at FITFAC, one of the city's established gyms. You learn stance, guard and technique using fists, elbows, knees and shins over 75 minutes, with free Muay Thai shorts, hand wraps and gloves included. Hotel pickup and drop-off are available as an option, or meet the gym directly at one of 11 locations across Bangkok.

The Experience

You arrive at FITFAC — a clean, air-conditioned gym with 11 locations spread across Bangkok near major transport hubs — and get fitted with free Muay Thai shorts and hand wraps. Your coach, a professional Thai boxer, spends the first 15 minutes teaching you stance, guard position and how to warm up safely. Then you move into 45 minutes of technique work, learning to strike with all eight limbs: fists, elbows, knees and shins. The session is paced to you, not a class moving at one speed, so the coach adjusts what you practice based on how you're moving and what clicks.

FITFAC specializes in beginners — most guests have never trained before — and the gym has been running for over 10 years with a mix of local Thais and foreign expats. The space is climate-controlled, which matters in Bangkok's heat and humidity. Boxing gloves, hand wraps and a shower room with lockers are all included; you just bring yourself and a willingness to work. If you're landing at an odd hour or your hotel is far from a gym, you can arrange pickup 30 minutes before the session and drop-off afterward, or book one-way pickup and make your own way back. Most hotels in Bangkok are within 15 minutes by car to one of the 11 FITFAC locations, so you can also meet the gym directly and skip the transport.

How do I get to the gym if I don't book pickup?
