The Experience

The tour starts with a Eurail journey from Zurich Airport to Interlaken, where you spend two nights in a three-star hotel between Lake Brienz and Lake Thun. After breakfast on day two, you head out on your own to Jungfraujoch—Top of Europe—at 3,454 meters. The mountain is yours to explore at your own pace: the Sphinx Observatory, the Ice Palace carved into the glacier, the Aletsch Glacier itself, or simply the view across the Alps. You return to Interlaken for the night.

On day three, another Eurail journey takes you to Lucerne, where you'll stay two more nights by Lake Lucerne. Day four is your second full-day excursion, this time to Mount Titlis and its Revolving Gondola—the only one of its kind in the world, turning slowly as you ascend to 3,020 meters. The summit offers views across the Urner Alps, and you can walk the Titlis Cliff Walk or explore the ice cave and glacier grotto on your own schedule. On the final day, Eurail carries you back to Zurich Airport.

All rail transfers run on Eurail II Class, and breakfast is included each morning at your hotel. The excursions themselves are non-guided, so you move through each summit without a group or a fixed itinerary—the pace and the stops are yours to decide.
