The Experience

The journey starts with hotel or location pickup in Zurich, then heads toward the valley station where the cable car system begins. The Rotair—a rotating cabin—carries you upward through changing views, and by the time you step out at 3,000 meters above sea level, you're standing in a high alpine panorama with the Alps spreading in every direction. The summit holds several things to do: the Glacier Cave sits carved into the ice; the Cliff Walk suspension bridge stretches across the mountain face; the Ice Flyer takes you low over crevasses and into the Glacier Park, where snow tubing runs year-round.

After the mountain activities, the group descends and heads to Lake Lucerne for the private fondue.
