The experience

You get picked up from anywhere in Interlaken at 7:45 and driven 35 minutes to Axalp ski resort by private shuttle. Once there, the instructor fits you with boots, skis, poles, helmet, jacket, pants, gloves and goggles: no need to bring or rent anything separately. The 2-hour lesson starts on easy terrain where you'll learn to control your speed, make your first turns, and use the ski lifts safely, all at a pace that matches a beginner's progress.

The whole day runs on a fixed schedule: lesson ends around 11:00, and you're back in Interlaken by 11:45. If you want to extend the morning, an afternoon slot (1:00 to 5:00 PM) is available on certain days. On the return shuttle, you can ask to stop at Giessbach waterfalls or Iseltwald for a walk if the timing suits you.

The beginner park at Axalp stays quieter than the main slopes, which means more space to practice without pressure.
