Your lift ticket covers the magic carpet (a moving walkway that brings you back up the slope without the effort of a traditional chairlift), so you spend your time practicing, not hiking. The small-group cap of eight people means your instructor can watch your progress and adjust the pace to where you actually are, not where the group average sits.

Your guide speaks English or German, so you get instruction in whichever language works for you. If you need snowboard-specific clothing beyond what you're wearing, rental shops in the area have jackets and snow pants available. The package covers the board, boots, helmet and lift access only. Children from 12 onward can join as long as an adult in your household is taking the same lesson with them.
