You arrive at Port de Plaisance Yacht Club in Cole Bay and step aboard Freedom, a brand-new 2022 catamaran with teak decks and lounge areas built for a small group to spread out. The captain and crew welcome you with a cool scented towel and handmade chocolate, then set course for the French side as you sip a mimosa and nibble a late-morning charcuterie board. The boat is yours to direct. Your only job is to decide where to anchor next.

The day moves through four stops, each one chosen for what it offers. Happy Bay Beach is a secluded anchorage ringed by cliffs where you swim, snorkel the reef, or float on the lily pad mat while the crew prepares a Mediterranean lunch of barbecued skewers, fresh salads and homemade cookies. Baie Longue sits beneath soaring cliffs in crystal-clear water deep enough to dive and snorkel. The crew keeps the signature cocktails flowing. Maho Beach is the famous spot where planes descend low enough overhead that you wave at the windows. The route back crosses Simpson Bay Bridge before docking at the starting point, and the timing shifts based on the day's weather and sea state: the captain reads conditions and adapts.

The bar stays open all day with craft cocktails, beer, wine, prosecco and soft drinks shaken fresh to order. Snorkeling equipment, reef-safe sunscreen, towels and two paddle boards are all aboard. A restroom is on the boat. The crew handles the sailing, the anchoring, the food prep and the cleanup. You handle nothing but deciding when to swim and when to lounge.
