The boat reaches 22 knots and carries up to six guests, which means you're not waiting in a crowd to cast.

The morning starts at Puerto Colon on the southwest tip of the island. Once offshore, Gavin adapts his technique to what's biting and what the sea is doing that day. If you've never held a rod, he'll walk you through the setup and the motion. If you're chasing a personal best, he'll use his knowledge of seasonal patterns and depth to hunt it. Either way, you're fishing the whole time, not watching someone else do it. The boat carries live bait and all the tackle you need. You bring sun protection and a hat.

Drinks and snacks are on board, though you're welcome to bring your own food. Four hours on the water is long enough to work multiple spots and feel the rhythm of the day change, short enough that you're not exhausted by the time you head back to the dock.
