The experience
The boat, Sail La Vie, leaves Port de Soller and heads in whichever direction you prefer. The northern route takes you toward Sa Calobra, one of Mallorca's most beautiful calas, with stops possible at Ses Cambres, Na Mora, Sa Costera, Cala Tuent, and sometimes Ses Capellans. The southern route passes through the Blue Lagoon in Es Gall, then Cala Deia and S'Estaca. There's no fixed itinerary: the skipper adapts to what you want to do and how long you want to linger in each cove.
Snorkelling equipment and a paddleboard are on board. Still and sparkling water, beer, white wine, and soft drinks come with the trip. You can sit in the shade of the cockpit or lie on the bow in the sun. Swimming and exploring the coves is what fills the afternoon, and the skipper handles the navigation while you're in the water or drifting between stops.
The boat holds a small group and operates with a live skipper in English, Spanish or French. Infants sit on an adult's lap. Public transport reaches Port de Soller if you're arriving without a car.
