The experience

The boat leaves Palma Harbour, a 5-minute walk from the main cruise terminal, and heads south along the coast toward Illetes Islands. The first hour is sightseeing. You pass Palma Cathedral and the cliffs near the Kings Palace Marivent from the water, moving at a pace that lets you take in the shoreline without rushing. The modern yacht has cushioned seating on the front deck and a sundeck, so there's room to sit in the sun or move into the shade depending on the hour and how you feel.

After the initial run down the coast, the boat anchors in a protected bay for the bulk of the afternoon. This is where the activity shifts: you can snorkel from the bathing platform, paddle out on one of the SUP boards, float on the inflatable lounger, or simply swim and rest between efforts. The captain stays onboard and can point out what's below the surface or help you get the board steady if you're new to paddling. The return journey takes an hour, retracing the route back to Palma Harbour. A professional captain guides the boat and can speak with you in English, French, German or Dutch.
