Swim, snorkel and paddle in two hidden coves without arranging the boat or the gear

A three-hour boat trip in Mallorca departs for Es Calo and Arenalet de Aubarca, where you swim and snorkel in crystal-clear water, try paddle surfing, and explore two sea caves carved into the Llevant Natural Park cliffs. Snorkel gear, paddleboards, a skipper and crew are included; children from age 3 are welcome.

3h

Step-by-step itinerary

Boat trip exploring Llevant Natural Park

  • Set sail on modern boat
  • Discover Mallorca's hidden coastline
  • Swim and snorkel at Es Calo
  • Try paddle surfing
  • Visit Arenalet de Aubarca cove
  • Relax on white sandy beach

The Experience

The boat leaves for Es Calo with a skipper and crew on board, and you get 45 minutes in the water there—long enough to snorkel among the marine life, paddle on a board, or simply float and let the sun do the work. The water is clear enough that the reef and the fish are visible without diving, and the cove itself sits in the shadow of the park's cliffs. Snorkel masks and tubes come with you; paddleboards are rigged and ready.

From Es Calo the boat moves to Arenalet de Aubarca, a second cove with white sand where the pace slows. This is where the two sea caves appear—narrow openings in the rock face that the boat can enter, and they're the kind of place that photographs better than any description. The whole trip runs about three hours from start to finish, which means you're back on land by early afternoon.

The skipper and crew handle navigation and timing so the day holds together without anyone building it. All-inclusive features—snorkel gear, paddleboards, travel insurance—are already factored in, and the boat itself is modern enough that the ride out is smooth. Live guides speak English, Spanish, Italian, French and one additional language.

Top questions

What exactly happens during the 45 minutes at Es Calo?

Es Calo is where you get the longest water time on the trip. You can snorkel in the shallows to watch the marine life, try the paddleboards, or simply swim and rest in the cove while the boat waits. The water is shallow and clear, so snorkeling doesn't require deep diving.

Are the sea caves something we actually enter, or do we just see them from the boat?

The boat enters the two sea caves in the Llevant Natural Park cliffs at Arenalet de Aubarca. They're narrow openings in the rock, and the skipper takes the boat inside so you can see them up close and take photos from the water.

What's included in the price, and what do I need to bring?

The trip includes snorkel masks and tubes, paddleboards, the boat itself with skipper and crew, two swimming stops, and travel insurance. Bring a swimsuit, sunscreen, a towel and water; the boat provides everything else for the water.

Is this trip suitable for children?

Children are welcome from age 3 onward. The trip is suitable for all physical fitness levels, though it is not recommended for travelers with spinal injuries or pregnant travelers.

How long is the whole trip, and when would we be back?

The boat trip runs approximately three hours total, so if you depart in the morning you'll be back by early afternoon, leaving the rest of your day free for other plans.
