The Experience
Playa Grande Beach sits a short walk from the diving center, so you're in the water within minutes of arrival. Your private guide gives you a brief safety rundown before you start, covering what to expect and how to move safely underwater. Then you're in the shallows with just your group and your guide, watching for the species that live here — various fish, cuttlefish, seahorses, stingrays and others that show up depending on the day and the conditions.
You have your own guide the whole time, which means the pace stays with you and the guide can point out details a larger group would miss. All snorkeling equipment is provided, so you only bring yourself and a towel. The 90-minute tour gives you time to explore without rushing, and because Playa Grande is shallow and calm, you can focus on watching the underwater life instead of fighting the water.
