The experience

You board at 11am and sail into the Graciosa marine reserve, a protected stretch of water between Lanzarote and the smaller island where few boats go. The catamaran is built for this: a luxury hull that cuts the crossing in under an hour and sits stable enough that lunch stays on the plate. Once you arrive, the crew anchors offshore and the water becomes your choice: an hour ashore in Caleta de Sebo, the only village, where the church and beach are the main sights and a few bars line the sandy streets, or straight into the water from the boat.

The snorkeling happens in the shallows off the anchorage. You get a full set of gear (mask, fins, snorkel), and the water is calm enough that even first-timers can see down to the seabed. A kayak sits tethered to the boat if you want to paddle out farther. Between water time, you can lie on the deck and dry off, or stay in the shade. Lunch, a traditional paella, comes on board after the morning swim, along with an unlimited bar. Vegan and vegetarian versions are available if you book ahead.

The boat leaves Lanzarote from the main marina and returns by 4pm. If your resort is on the island, a return bus transfer is included in one of the two booking options. The other option has no pickup, so you drive or taxi to the marina yourself. The crew is multilingual and the whole day runs on a fixed schedule, so the timing holds even if the weather shifts slightly. Bring a passport or ID card (you're crossing between Canary Islands), and note that bookings made within 24 hours of departure don't include pickup.
