Lunch and snorkeling happen on the boat, not on the beach.

A catamaran day trip from Órzola to La Graciosa includes a ferry crossing, a one-hour sail around the island with champagne and snacks, swimming and snorkeling time at Playa Francesa, a full lunch served on board, and a walk through the village of Caleta del Sebo before the return crossing. Lunch, unlimited drinks, kayaks and the ferry ticket are all included; snorkeling equipment is not. The whole day runs about five and a half hours from pickup to drop-off.

The Experience

If you're arriving in Lanzarote with a free afternoon or looking for a single-day escape, this catamaran trip solves the logistics: pickup from Playa Blanca, Puerto del Carmen, Costa Teguise or Arrecife (or you can meet the group at Órzola port), then a ferry crossing to La Graciosa. Once you board the catamaran, the crew serves champagne and snacks while you sail for an hour with views of Montaña Amarilla. The boat anchors at Playa Francesa, a marine reserve where the water stays clear enough to snorkel or kayak; you can also take a water taxi to explore the beach itself if you prefer to stay dry.

Lunch arrives on board after the water time: mixed salad, pasta with your choice of tomato-and-vegetable or tuna sauce, bread, fresh fruit, and an open bar of beer, wine and soft drinks for the rest of the day. After eating, the catamaran sails back along the coast and docks at Caleta del Sebo, the quiet village on La Graciosa's main port, where you have time to walk around before boarding the ferry back to Órzola. A shuttle service returns you to your starting point.

The crew speaks English, Spanish or French depending on the departure. Kayaks are included in the price; bring your own snorkeling gear or plan to skip that part of the water time. Infants and small children can come along, and the pace suits all fitness levels.

Is this one for you?The catamaran lunch means you don't eat on a crowded beach or hunt for a restaurant in a small village — the meal and drinks are timed into the day so nothing breaks the flow between water time and the walk ashore. Pick the option with hotel pickup if you're staying on the main island and want to skip the drive to Órzola yourself.
