You spend the morning and early afternoon in an electric tuk-tuk with a local guide, seeing Porto's cathedral, churches, historic squares, and the Ribeira waterfront. Then you board a traditional rabelo boat for a 55-minute cruise past the Six Bridges and the riverside neighborhoods. The boat ticket comes with the tour and is valid for 30 days, so you can use it the same day or return later. Groups are small — maximum six per tuk-tuk — and pickup and drop-off happen at the same point.
You climb into an electric tuk-tuk at the meeting point, and within minutes you're moving through Porto's narrow streets with a local guide pointing out the Porto Cathedral, the Clérigos Tower, and the rococo Carmelite Church as you pass. The tuk-tuk tour covers the main landmarks — São Bento Train Station, Aliados Avenue, the world's most beautiful bookstore — and winds down into Ribeira, the oldest neighborhood, where cobbled streets drop toward the Douro River and small restaurants line the waterfront. The whole tuk-tuk ride takes you through the UNESCO-listed heart of the city, and because groups stay under six people, you're not stuck behind a crowd.
After the tuk-tuk drops you back at the starting point, your guide hands you a ticket for the Six Bridges Douro River cruise — a 55-minute sail on a traditional rabelo boat that floats past Porto and Vila Nova de Gaia. The boat runs daily from 10:30am to 6pm (April to September) or 11am to 4pm (October to March), and because the ticket is open, you can take the cruise right after the tour ends or come back another day within 30 days if you book late in the afternoon. The cruise is panoramic, no narration, just the river and the bridges and the light hitting the old buildings from the water.
One thing to know: if you book after 4pm, the boat may not run the same day, but you've got a month to use the ticket. Traffic can stretch the tuk-tuk portion, so don't schedule anything tight afterward. The activity runs in any weather, and the tuk-tuks are electric, so it's quieter than you'd expect moving through the old streets.

Is this one for you?Pick this if you want to see Porto's main monuments and the river in one outing without arranging separate tickets or transport — the tuk-tuk handles the city, the boat ticket comes with it, and the small group size means you're not herded through the streets.
