The Experience

The return drive to Porto takes the late afternoon, with drop-off at your accommodation around 6:30 pm. The full day runs about eight hours from pickup to drop-off, and the pace is set by the guide and the stops rather than by a fixed schedule that leaves no room to linger at a viewpoint or ask questions about the wines.
