The Experience

The first thing I remember is the sound — this tiny Fiat 126p coughing to life outside our hotel in Warsaw. It’s not exactly quiet. We ended up at the Polish Vodka Museum for a quick shot — sharp, almost sweet — which Marek insisted was “for courage.” Maybe he was right; there’s a strange comfort in sharing vodka with strangers after bumping around together all afternoon.
