The experience

Your guide meets you at the hotel and drives you through Warsaw in a private, air-conditioned vehicle. The first 30 minutes takes you past the Polish Vodka Museum and the Field Cathedral of the Polish Army, the main garrison church of Warsaw. From there, the route moves into the Warsaw Ghetto itself: the largest Nazi ghetto during World War II, established in November 1940. You'll stand at Miła 18 and visit the Anielewicz Mount, the hidden headquarters of the Jewish Combat Organization, a resistance group that operated inside the Ghetto during the German occupation.

The Jewish Cemetery on Okopowa Street is one of Europe's largest, occupying 33 hectares and established in 1806. Your guide walks you through it, then takes you to POLIN Museum of the History of Polish Jews, located on the former Ghetto site itself. The museum's name comes from a Hebrew word meaning both "Poland" and "rest here," tied to a legend about the first Jews arriving in Poland. Entrance to both the cemetery and the museum is included.

After the guided portion, you get 2 hours of free time to walk on your own before the driver returns you to your hotel.
