The boat leaves Roro port in Mactan Island after hotel pickup, heading first to Hilutungan Island. The water here runs deeper than 5 meters and holds a wide variety of fish among the corals—the reason snorkelers come back to this spot. Life jackets are provided, so you can explore the reef without worrying about your swimming ability. The depth and the clarity make it the clearest snorkeling of the day.
Nalusuan Island comes next, marked by a long jetty at its entrance. This small resort island has the facilities to spend hours without leaving—hammocks, chairs, and shade where you can dry off between water time. The islanders prepare fresh seafood on the spot, and that's your BBQ lunch. You're free to explore at your own pace: some people stay in the water, others walk the island or rest in the hammocks. The lush greenery and clear water around it are what make it popular for island hopping.
Caohagan Island is the final stop, a place designed for doing nothing while looking at the ocean. If you want more—paddleboarding, jet skis, or other water sports—you can add them here and pay locally. The boat picks you up from the port afterward and returns you to your hotel. Snorkeling equipment, towel rental, bottled water and island admission fees are all included; if you want to rent a GoPro, request it when you book.
