The experience

The boat leaves Al Mouj Marina and heads 70 km out to the Daymaniyat Islands, a chain of nine islands protected as a marine sanctuary and often called Oman's hidden paradise. Hotel pickup is available on request. Once you arrive, you drop into two snorkeling stops positioned over colorful coral reefs where tropical fish school in every direction. Green sea turtles are common here. During the right season, whale sharks move through the same waters. All snorkeling gear arrives sanitized (mask, fins, life jacket), and the boat carries unlimited drinks and light snacks for the day.

Between reef stops, the islands themselves are there if you want to step ashore: white-sand beaches and the option to paddle out on a kayak or paddleboard instead of snorkel. The boat crew is professional and the experience is built to fit couples, families and travelers on their own. Groups stay under 14 people. The whole outing runs about five hours from start to finish, and it requires decent weather. If the day turns, you get offered a different date or your money back.
