The day starts with pickup from your Tangier hotel, port or airport, then heads south toward the Rif Mountains. After two hours of driving, you'll stop at a panoramic viewpoint to take in the landscape before continuing another two hours to Chefchaouen. The route itself is part of the experience: the road climbs through the mountains that separate the coast from the interior, and the driver knows the way well enough to point out what's worth noticing.
