A half-day sandboarding class on the beachfront dunes of Tamri, outside Agadir, with a professional guide teaching you to ride safely. The experience includes hotel pickup from Agadir or Taghazout, lunch, mint tea and snacks, sandboarding boards, and an air-conditioned ride back to your hotel. A moderate level of fitness is needed. The activity is not recommended for travelers with spinal injuries.

The experience

Five hours on the sand starts with pickup from your hotel in Agadir or Taghazout, then a drive to the dunes of Tamri on the Atlantic coast. A professional guide and coach meet you there and teach you how to sandboard safely: how to stand, how to shift your weight, how to control your speed down the face. You get up to two hours on the boards themselves, riding the beachfront dunes as the sand shifts under your feet.

The day wraps around the light. You'll spend time exploring the sand dunes themselves, then watch the sunset from the coast before heading back. Lunch and mint tea with snacks are included, served during the half day. The air-conditioned vehicle picks you up again and returns you to your hotel, so you don't need to arrange transport or navigate the route yourself.
