The medina's narrow streets loop back on themselves by design, and a first visit without a guide means hours of backtracking. This tour moves through the old city with a local who knows which alley leads where, stopping at the sites that matter: Bahia Palace with its mosaic walls and decorated inner rooms; the Saadian Tombs, built during Sultan Ahmed el Mansour's reign; the Jewish quarter's distinct architecture; and Koutoubia Mosque, the landmark that orients you when you're turned around. The route takes four hours and covers ground on foot through the souks, where the guide navigates the vendor stalls and the crowd. Bahia Palace entry is included. Other museum tickets are separate.
