The experience
You arrive in Tangier by ferry from Tarifa and meet your driver the same day. The tour covers ground quickly: Rabat and Casablanca on day one, then Marrakech where you walk the Jemaa el Fna Square and tour the Bahia Palace. By day three you are climbing the Tizi n'Tichka pass through the Atlas at 2,260 meters, stopping at Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO kasbah built into a hillside, before dropping down to Ouarzazate. The pace is set by the itinerary, not by you, so the seven days pack in what would take weeks to arrange alone.
The Sahara leg is the centerpiece. On day four you travel the Kasbah route past the Todga Gorges (dramatic cliffs that narrow to a slot in places), then ride a camel to a Berber camp in Merzouga for the night. You wake to the sunrise over the dunes, ride back by 4x4, and continue north through the Middle and High Atlas, stopping in Azrou to see the Atlas monkeys. Fez comes next, a UNESCO city where a local guide takes you through the Royal Palace and the souks. Chefchaouen, the blue-painted city in the Rif Mountains, gets a morning before you head back to Tangier for the return ferry.
Private transport and a professional multilingual driver are included throughout. You do not change vehicles or guides. Accommodations are handpicked, and dinners at your hotels are part of the package. The ferry from Tarifa to Tangier and back is your responsibility, as are tips, drinks and any meals outside the hotel. Minimum age is 18.

Is this one for you? This tour suits travelers arriving in Tangier with a week to spend and no appetite for arranging transport, guides and camp logistics across seven different regions. The fixed itinerary and daily hotel changes mean you travel with a small group and move every day, so it works best for people who prefer structure over flexibility and want to see the most ground in the least time.

Top questions
What languages is the tour guided in?
Live guide in English, Spanish and French.
What happens on the first day when I arrive in Tangier?
You take the ferry from Tarifa to Tangier, where your driver meets you. From there you travel through Rabat, Morocco's capital, and continue to Casablanca for a panoramic tour that includes an exterior view of the Hassan II Mosque, then check into your hotel for dinner.
Do I ride a camel in the Sahara, or just visit it?
You ride a camel from Merzouga to a Berber camp in the Sahara Desert on day four, spend the night there, and wake for the sunrise over the dunes before riding back by 4x4 the next morning. Dinner and an evening around the campfire with Berber drumming are part of that night.
Is Ait Ben Haddou a full tour, or just a quick stop?
Ait Ben Haddou is a UNESCO World Heritage kasbah on day three. The itinerary calls it an exploration stop on the way from Marrakech to Ouarzazate, so you have time to walk the site, but it is not a full-day focus. You continue south the same afternoon.
What is included in the price, and what do I pay for separately?
The tour includes private transport, your driver, hotel stays, and dinners at your hotels. The ferry from Tarifa to Tangier and back is separate, as are tips, drinks, and any meals you choose outside the hotel. Accommodation itself is not listed as included in the base price.
