The experience

Two days lets you move through four distinct northern cities without rushing the medinas. Day one takes you from Tangier to Tetouan (a UNESCO World Heritage site whose medina sits layered on a hillside), then on to Chefchaouen, where the entire old town is painted in shades of blue. You stay overnight in a traditional riad in Chefchaouen, giving you time to walk the medina without a clock. Day two begins after breakfast and loops back through Tangier's main sites before ending in Asilah, a smaller Atlantic port town, before your return to the airport or port.

The route threads through the Rif Mountains, mixing history and landscape. Cape Spartel marks the meeting point of the Atlantic and Mediterranean. Ras el-Maa Waterfall sits within Chefchaouen's medina itself. Local guides meet you at Tetouan, Chefchaouen and Asilah to walk the streets and explain what you're seeing. Transport is in an air-conditioned minivan, and the driver speaks English. Guides are available in Spanish, French and Arabic as well. Breakfast is included both mornings, and WiFi runs on board.

Pickup happens from Tangier Airport, the port, or your hotel. The itinerary is fixed, so you know the stops and the pace before you book. If you need flexibility or prefer to move at your own speed through one city, a self-guided option or a longer tour with more free time would suit you better.

Is this one for you?Two days is long enough to see four cities and stay overnight in Chefchaouen without feeling hurried, but short enough to fit into a longer Morocco trip. If you have only one day or need to spend three or more days in the north, a different tour length would serve you better.

Can children come?

Yes. Ticket types: Child (under 10).

What happens if it rains?

It may be canceled due to bad weather. If that happens, you're offered another date or a refund. Free cancellation up to 24 h before the start.

What is the Medina of Tetouan and why is it on this tour?

The Medina of Tetouan is a UNESCO World Heritage site, a walled old town built on a hillside with narrow streets, traditional architecture and local shops. It's included because it represents the cultural heart of northern Morocco and sits directly on the route between Tangier and Chefchaouen.

Can I spend more time in Chefchaouen, or is the tour rushed?

You have free time in Chefchaouen after the guided medina walk on day one, and you stay overnight in the town, so you're not moving on the same day you arrive. Day two departs after breakfast, giving you the evening and morning to explore at your own pace.

What is Ras el-Maa Waterfall and where is it?

Ras el-Maa Waterfall is a small waterfall that flows through the medina of Chefchaouen itself, making it accessible on foot during the guided walk. It's one of the distinctive features of the town.

Does the tour include meals beyond breakfast?

Breakfast is included both mornings. Lunch and dinner are not included, though the guide can recommend local restaurants in each town.

Is Cape Spartel worth the stop, or is it just a photo spot?

Cape Spartel is the point where the Atlantic Ocean and Mediterranean Sea meet, marked by a lighthouse. It's a brief stop on day one, notable as a geographic landmark rather than a lengthy attraction.
