The experience

The tour starts in Tangier with the Kasbah and Cape Spartel, then moves to the Caves of Hercules before heading inland toward the Rif Mountains. The landscape shifts as you climb into the foothills, and the medina of Chefchaouen appears: the old town famous for its blue-painted buildings and narrow lanes. You spend the night in a 4-star riad there, giving you time to walk the medina without the rush of a same-day turnaround.

On the second day, you descend to Tetouan's medina, another UNESCO-listed old town with its own character and history, then return to Tangier. Local guides in each city handle the commentary (they speak English, Spanish, French or Arabic depending on your group), and the air-conditioned minivan moves between stops. Breakfast and dinner are included, as are all entrance fees and taxes, so there are no surprises at ticket windows or restaurants.

A minimum of two people per booking is required. The itinerary is wheelchair accessible, and the operator can arrange specialized infant seats if you're traveling with small children. Public transport options exist near the meeting point if you prefer to arrive on your own.
