The Experience

The minivan picks you up from your Cancun hotel and takes 45 minutes to reach Xplor. Once there, you move through the activities at your own pace — no fixed schedule, no herding between stops. The park sits less than an hour from central Cancun, so the commute is short enough that most of the day stays in the park itself.

The ziplines are the headline: you'll soar up to 150 feet above the rainforest canopy on courses that cut through the jungle and into underground caves, where some lines end with a splash into a cenote. The amphibious vehicle takes you on a 3-mile circuit over rocky riverbeds, off-road trails and suspended bridges — you're driving it yourself, not watching from a seat. Then comes the raft: you paddle through caverns lined with stalactites and stalagmites, gliding through water deep enough to swim in.
