The experience

You arrive at Cabo harbor and board the boat with your guide, who speaks English and Spanish and has been trained by PAPO, the Professional Association of Parasailing Operators. Once out in the bay, the crew fits you with a harness and secures you to the towline. Sit in the back of the boat and the boat does the towing. Depending on wind and water conditions that day, you'll climb to around 600 feet. From there you see the Arch, Lovers' Beach, and the entire Cabo shoreline spread below you. The kind of view that makes a camera with a secure strap essential.

The flight itself lasts 10 to 12 minutes. When you're ready to come down, the crew guides you back onto the boat where you started, or if you want, you can splash down for a quick dip in the bay on the way. Either way, you're back on deck within the 90-minute window from start to finish, leaving the rest of your afternoon free.

All equipment and instruction are included. You just bring your sense of adventure. The activity runs daily subject to availability and weather. If conditions turn bad, the Marina Captain closes it and you'll be rescheduled or refunded. Children from age 7 can fly, and the weight range is 140 to 450 pounds solo or tandem, though the captain may adjust those limits based on actual wind and conditions that day.

Is this one for you?At 90 minutes total, this fits a free afternoon or a morning slot before other plans, leaving you time to dry off and explore the rest of Cabo. Children from age 7 can fly, so families can book together, though non-flying passengers pay a separate fee only if the boat isn't at capacity.

What exactly do I see from 600 feet up in Cabo?

The Arch, Lovers' Beach, Medano Beach, and the entire Cabo shoreline spread below you as you soar. Land's End and Cabo San Lucas Bay fill the view in all directions.

Do I need any experience to parasail, or is this for beginners too?

Beginners can do this. All instruction and equipment are provided, and the crew handles the towing. You just sit in the harness and enjoy the flight. The boat does the work.

Can I bring my phone to take pictures from up there?

Yes, but it needs a secure strap or pouch around your neck so it doesn't fall into the water. The crew can also take pictures with your phone from the boat if you prefer not to risk it aloft.

What happens if I want to go in the water instead of landing back on the boat?

You can splash down for a quick dip in the bay on your way back down. The crew guides you either way and brings you back safely.

If wind or water conditions are poor, the Marina Captain closes the activity. You'll be notified and offered a reschedule or full refund.
