The experience
The activity starts on Medano Beach, where the crew meets you and runs through safety instructions and how to operate the parasail. You'll get a life jacket and a quick ride out to the parasailing platform anchored inside Cabo San Lucas Bay. From there you launch into the sky, tethered to the boat below, and spend your flight scanning three bodies of water at once: the Pacific Ocean stretching to the horizon, the Sea of Cortez to the east, and the distinctive rock formation of Land's End marking where they meet. The crew stays with you the whole time to keep things safe.
You choose whether to fly solo, with one other person, or as a group of three before you book. The flight itself runs about an hour from start to finish, including the beach briefing and the ride back to Medano Beach once you're down. If you arranged transport to the beach, the driver brings you back to your hotel afterward. If you came on your own, you can spend the rest of the afternoon on Medano Beach or head out on your own.
