The Experience

Hotel pickup brings you to the Sacred Ranch, a secluded property on the Pacific Coast where the riding starts. You'll be fitted with full protective gear—helmet, knee and shoulder protection—and climb onto an electric bike that handles the power while you steer through open desert, shallow canyons, and cactus-lined trails. The motor takes the strain out of climbing rolling hills, so the focus stays on the landscape: in winter, watch for humpback whales breaching in the ocean as you ride. The terrain shifts from dusty desert to a deserted beach where you cruise along the shoreline with the Sea of Cortes on one side and powerful waves on the other.

After cooling down from the ride, you move into the margarita-making class. This is hands-on—you're mixing the drink yourself, learning the traditional method before tasting what you've made. The buffet follows: unlimited Mexican dishes served in front of the ocean view, with beer, tequila, mezcal, and flavored waters available. The whole experience sits inside three hours before the air-conditioned vehicle returns you to your hotel.

The e-bikes mean the ride is accessible to people who wouldn't manage a full-day pedal tour, but you still need moderate fitness and bike-riding experience to join. A 25 USD park entrance fee and 15 USD collision fee per bike are due at check-in; collision insurance is optional. Minimum height is 1.5 meters and maximum weight 265 lbs / 120 kg. Children from age 8 are welcome.
