The Experience

I’d never set foot on a yacht before Cancun, so stepping barefoot onto that big white deck felt a bit unreal — like I was crashing someone’s fancy birthday party. Kids were fine onboard (one napped under a towel), and nobody minded when I asked if service animals were allowed (they are). The whole thing felt easygoing — not stiff or showy — which surprised me for something called “luxury.” Maybe that’s just how people do it here.
