A private 55-foot luxury yacht rental in Cancun accommodates up to 20 guests and operates for 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, or 8 hours, with a licensed captain, two sailors and a steward included. The yacht departs from the Marina, cruises the Nichupte Lagoon and Bay of Cancun, and on longer rentals reaches Isla Mujeres and snorkeling sites at coral reefs or a sunken ship. Soft drinks, snorkeling equipment, a paddle board and a floating mattress are provided. You can bring your own food and alcohol (no red wine, hookah or fireworks). The crew speaks English, Spanish, Russian and Ukrainian. Shorter rentals (1–2 hours) stay in the bay and lagoon. 4-hour and longer trips include Isla Mujeres and optional stops at beach clubs or restaurants on the island.

The experience

The day starts at the Marina, where you board the 55-foot Sea Ray with your group of up to 20 people. A licensed captain, two sailors and a steward manage the yacht, navigation and service while you decide what the day looks like. The route depends on how long you've booked: a 1 or 2-hour rental takes you through the Nichupte Lagoon, under the Calinda channel bridge, into the Bay of Cancun and to an anchorage in turquoise water for swimming. Longer rentals push further: 4 hours and up reach Isla Mujeres, where you can anchor at Playa Norte, the island's main beach, and swim or sunbathe for as long as you want.

On 4-hour rentals and longer, the route includes a stop at a coral reef or a sunken ship site for snorkeling, weather permitting. Snorkeling equipment is on board, along with a paddle board and a floating mattress if you want to drift on the water between swims. The crew brings soft drinks. You're welcome to pack your own food, beer and wine (red wine is not allowed). On 6 and 8-hour charters, you can add a meal at a beach club or restaurant on Isla Mujeres. That's optional and arranged with the crew. The yacht returns to the Marina at the end of your rental window, and the service is considered complete once the vessel leaves the dock, so the time is yours to use as you choose.

Weather can change the route: if the Caribbean Sea is closed to traffic by the port authority, the captain may keep the yacht in the Nichupte Lagoon instead, though 1, 2 and 3-hour rentals usually proceed regardless. The crew speaks English, Spanish, Russian and Ukrainian, so communication is straightforward. Infants sit on an adult's lap, and the yacht suits all fitness levels. There's plenty of deck space to relax if you're not swimming or snorkeling.
