The Experience

Someone’s handing me a glass of something cold before I even realize I’m squinting at the sun off Cabo San Lucas. The Neoprene’s deck feels almost too smooth under my bare feet—like someone waxed it just for us. There’s this faint smell of salt and limes drifting from the bar (Miguel, our bartender, keeps slicing them for everyone’s drinks).
