The Experience
The boat leaves Pointe Jerome Wharf at 9:30 and heads first to Ile Au Phare, where you walk the island and then enter the water to snorkel in the blue hole — a site in the middle of the corals that holds a variety of marine life. After that, the catamaran cruises to Great River South East to see the waterfall and the river scenery from the water. The route then moves to Ile aux Cerf, where you have time to swim, lay on the sand and explore at your own pace.
Lunch is a barbecue served on board the boat, with drinks included throughout the day. On the return journey, there's a final stop at Ile aux Aigrettes for one last swim in the clear water before the 4pm drop-off back at Pointe Jerome. The whole day runs seven hours, and the guide speaks English and French.
