The experience

The tour starts with a drive through Jamaica's interior to YS Falls, where seven tiers cascade into a refreshing natural pool ringed by lush gardens. You swim in the pool and have time to move between the tiers at your own pace. The water is the main event here: most of the morning centers on the falls themselves and the gardens around them.

After YS Falls, a short boat ride takes you a mile offshore to Floyd's Pelican Bar, a structure built directly on the water with no land in sight. The bar is famous for one thing: visitors carve their names into the wooden railings and posts, leaving a record of everyone who has been there. You order food and drinks at the bar and sit surrounded by ocean. The boat ride back to shore is included, and the whole experience runs about five hours from pickup to drop-off.

Your driver provides air-conditioned transportation throughout the day and a complimentary rum punch or coconut drink (when available), plus bottled water.
