The experience
You meet at Largo di Torre Argentina and climb onto the back of a Vespa driven by an experienced local. The route covers nine major landmarks in 90 minutes: you pass the Altar of Peace and the Colosseum (viewed from outside), then cut through to Circus Maximus, the largest stadium ever built on Earth. From there the driver takes you up to Piazza del Campidoglio, where you have free time to walk around, then to a panoramic overlook of the Roman Forum with the Colosseum and Palatine Hill in the distance.
The tour crosses into Trastevere and climbs to Piazzale Giuseppe Garibaldi at the Giannicolo, where you stop for your own moment to take in the view. On the way you pass the Fontana dell'Acqua Paola, an exceptional fountain with a panoramic vista. The driver brings you back to the starting point, and a photo shoot happens at stops along the route if you want it. The operator says this lets you capture moments you'll carry with you.
Insurance and a helmet come with the booking. The tour runs in English, Spanish, Italian, French and one additional language, and children over 10 can ride. Weight limit is 90 kg per passenger. You're not driving the Vespa. You're a passenger the whole time, so no license or riding experience is needed.

Is this one for you?Book this tour if you want to cover Rome's major sites in a single morning or afternoon without navigating the streets yourself. The 90-minute pace means you see nine landmarks and stop for photos and a moment at the top of the Giannicolo, but you're moving between them constantly. It's built for travelers who want breadth over depth at each stop.
