The experience

The experience starts in the vineyard itself. You walk through the rows with an expert who explains the methods and techniques of wine production while you take in the Tuscan landscape. This is not a lecture in a tasting room. The vines are around you, and the guide connects what you see growing to what you'll taste inside.

Once inside the ancient villa, a professional sommelier walks you through three of the most important Tuscan wines known worldwide. A sample of red and white wines arrives with local products (Tuscan sausages, cheese, focaccia), so you taste how the wines pair with food. The sommelier explains the particularity of each wine in depth, teaching you how to match wine with tasty food as you go. Water, wine, appetizers and bread are all included.

You choose your language at checkout: English or Italian. Gratuities are optional. The whole experience runs two hours. There's no hotel pickup included, so you'll need to arrange your own transport to the villa in Valdichiana.
