Step-by-step itinerary
Private cruise along Amalfi Coast and Capri
- Depart from Amalfi or Positano pier
- Sail along Amalfi Coast, stop for swimming
- Stop in Nerano for lunch or swim
- Cruise around Capri with swimming stops
- Optional walk ashore on Capri Island
- Return to Amalfi or Positano
The experience
The boat leaves from either Positano or Amalfi (you choose which pier suits your day), and the stops along the way are yours to set. The itinerary moves through the Amalfi Coast's main landmarks: Positano itself, the villages and cliffs of the shoreline, Nerano where the water is clearest, and then a full circuit of Capri. You decide where to linger for a swim or snorkel, and the English-speaking guide adjusts the route to match what you want to see and do.
Capri's stops include the Blue Grotto (tickets separate), Punta Carena, the Green Grotto, Marina Piccola, the Faraglioni Rocks, and the White Grotto: each one a place to jump in or simply drift past. If you want to walk ashore on the island for shopping or a meal, the boat waits. Nerano is often a lunch stop, either at a restaurant on the waterfront or back on board with something light. Snorkeling gear, towels, coffee, water and snacks are on board. Anything beyond that (restaurant meals, Blue Grotto entry, gratuities). You arrange separately.
The boat holds a maximum of ten people, so it stays intimate. All fuel, taxes, insurance and port charges are included in the price. Cruise ship passengers can book this as a shore excursion if you provide your ship's name and docking details at checkout.

Top questions
What happens if it rains?
It may be canceled due to bad weather. If that happens, you're offered another date or a refund. Free cancellation up to 24 h before the start.
What is the Punta Campanella Marine Reserve at Nerano, and why do people stop there?
Punta Campanella is a protected marine area known for exceptionally clear water and a string of waterfront restaurants. The yacht stops there for swimming, snorkeling or lunch depending on what you want to do.
Can I visit the Blue Grotto on Capri during this cruise?
The boat passes the Blue Grotto and can stop there, but entry tickets are not included and must be purchased separately. You decide whether to go in or skip it and swim at another spot on Capri instead.
How does the customizable itinerary work? Do I plan the stops before I board?
Stopping times are not fixed because they're entirely up to you. Tell the guide what you want to see and how long you want to spend at each place, and the route adjusts to fit your preferences during the day.
Is lunch included, and where do people usually eat?
Lunch is not included in the price. You can eat at a restaurant in Nerano or another coastal village, or request a light meal on board for an extra cost: arrange this when you book.
What's included on board besides snorkeling gear?
Snorkeling equipment, towels, coffee, tea, bottled water, snacks and beverages are all included. The guide provides live commentary in English throughout the day.
