Step-by-step itinerary
Private cruise along Amalfi Coast and Capri
- Depart from Amalfi or Positano pier
- Sail along Amalfi Coast with swimming stops
- Stop in Nerano for lunch or swim
- Cruise around Capri with swimming and snorkeling
- Optional walk ashore on Capri Island
- Return to Amalfi or Positano
The experience
The boat leaves from Positano pier or Amalfi harbour. You choose at checkout. From there, the route runs the length of the Amalfi Coast, passing Positano and Amalfi before reaching Nerano, where the Punta Campanella Marine Reserve sits in water so clear it's the reason the restaurants there exist. The yacht carries a maximum of ten people, so the deck never crowds. Snorkeling kits and towels are on board. You swim and relax as much as the schedule allows.
Capri itself gets a full circuit: the Blue Grotto entrance (ticket separate), Punta Carena, the Green Grotto, Marina Piccola, the Faraglioni Rocks, the White Grotto and Tiberius Jump all pass within reach. You can swim at any of these stops or stay on deck. If you want to walk ashore on the island for shopping or a look around, that's an option too. Lunch happens either at a restaurant along the shore or light on board, and you arrange it separately. The cruise itself includes snacks, coffee, tea, water and beverages.
Because stops and timing are customizable, the day shapes itself around what matters to you. The guide speaks English and Italian throughout, narrating what you're seeing and answering questions as the boat moves. The eight-hour window gives you time to linger at the spots that catch you, rather than racing through a fixed schedule.

Is this one for you?Choose Positano as your departure point if you want to start from the smaller, quieter side of the coast. Pick Amalfi if you're staying there or arriving by cruise ship. Either way, the customizable stops mean you set the pace: linger at Nerano for a long swim, skip the Blue Grotto if the line looks long, or spend extra time on deck watching the Faraglioni Rocks.

Top questions
What languages is the tour guided in?
Live guide in English and Italian.
What happens if it rains?
It may be canceled due to bad weather. If that happens, you're offered another date or a refund. Free cancellation up to 24 h before the start.
What's the water like at Nerano where the yacht stops?
Nerano sits inside the Punta Campanella Marine Reserve and is known for exceptionally clear water, which is why it's become a destination for swimming and snorkeling. The area is also lined with restaurants if you want to eat ashore.
Can I swim and snorkel during the cruise, or is it mostly sightseeing from the boat?
Swimming and snorkeling are built into the itinerary. The yacht stops specifically for both, and snorkeling kits are provided on board. How long you spend in the water at each stop is flexible.
Do I need to buy a ticket to enter the Blue Grotto?
The Blue Grotto ticket is not included in the cruise price and must be purchased separately if you want to enter. The yacht stops near the entrance, so you can decide once you're there.
What if I'm arriving on a cruise ship docked in Amalfi? Can I still book this tour?
Yes. At the time of booking, provide your ship's name, docking time, disembarkation time and re-boarding time so the yacht can time the return to match your ship's schedule.
