The experience
The boat leaves Positano's pier and heads south along the coast, stopping first for photographs of Positano's cliffside before moving toward Praiano. There you swim in the suggestive caves that ring the shoreline, then continue to the Fiordo di Furore for a photo stop at the dramatic fjord. The Emerald Grotto comes next: a sea cave you enter by boat, its water lit green by light filtering through an underwater opening (the entrance ticket is separate). After that, you swim in the crystalline water off Conca dei Marini and stop at a natural arch for another dip before sailing toward Amalfi.
In Amalfi, you leave the boat for a walk through the ancient Maritime Republic, exploring the town on foot before returning to the water. Lunch and drinks happen on board (soda, water, alcohol and snacks are all included) along with a shower if you want one. The route ends in the small seaside village of Atrani, then turns back to Positano. The boat carries only your group, and snorkeling equipment, beach towels, WiFi and Bluetooth speakers are on board for the full seven hours.

Top questions
What languages is the tour guided in?
Live guide in English and Italian.
What happens if it rains?
It may be canceled due to bad weather. If that happens, you're offered another date or a refund. Free cancellation up to 24 h before the start.
What exactly is the Emerald Grotto and how do we see it?
The Emerald Grotto is a sea cave on the Amalfi Coast where seawater glows bright green because sunlight enters through an underwater opening and reflects off the limestone. The boat takes you inside so you can see the effect from the water. Entry to the grotto costs approximately 10 euros per person, paid separately on the day.
Can we swim at every stop, or just some of them?
You swim at three stops: in the caves around Praiano, in the open water at Conca dei Marini, and at the natural arch between Conca dei Marini and Amalfi. The stops at Positano, the Fiordo di Furore and Atrani are for photographs and walking, not swimming.
Is lunch included, and what kind of food is it?
Lunch is not included in the tour price, though you can arrange it separately. The boat provides soda, water, alcoholic beverages and snacks throughout the day.
How many people can fit on the boat?
Three boat models are available (the 7.50 Open Cruis, the 32 Seed Cabin and the 7.80 Open Cruis), and your group books one boat privately, so only your party travels on it. The specific capacity depends on which model you choose at checkout.
