Make pasta and tiramisu with your own hands, then eat what you've cooked

A 3-hour private cooking class in Brescia where you knead, mix and blend fresh pasta and tiramisu by hand, then sit down to eat the dishes you've made with wine and local appetizers. The class runs in English or Italian with a live guide, and includes coffee and limoncello at the end.

The experience

You start by making tiramisu from scratch: layering mascarpone cream, ladyfingers soaked in coffee, and cocoa. After a break with appetizers and prosecco, you move to the pasta station, where you knead and shape tagliatelle and ravioli by hand. The guide walks you through each step, but the work is yours: the mixing, the kneading, the feel of the dough under your fingers.

Once everything is made, you sit at the table and eat what you've produced. The tagliatelle comes with a homemade lemon pesto made from oil, pine nuts, parmesan, almonds, basil and salt. The ravioli is dressed with condiments you choose. A good local wine accompanies the meal. The class happens in someone's home kitchen in Brescia, not a commercial studio, so the setup is intimate: the kind of place where guests feel like they're sitting at the table of old friends.

The whole experience is 3 hours. The guide speaks English or Italian. At the end, you leave with coffee and limoncello (for guests 18 and over), and the awareness that you've learned to make two dishes you can replicate at home.
